Jean-François Verkindre has joined Aerostructure Middle East Services (AMES), he co-manages the company with Thierry Baud, from AFI KLM&EM.
AMES is a 50/50 joint venture between Safran Nacelles and AFI KLM E&M, specialized in the maintenance of aircraft nacelles, radomes* and aerostructures. AMES is based in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates since 2009 and covers the Middle East and India peninsula regions.
Jean-François began his career in 1990 as an engineering expert in a design office of the maintenance and repair branch of Air France Industries. He held a number of engineering positions up to 1999 when he was appointed project manager to the Organization department. In 2003, he was in charge of the Aircraft Airframe and Cabin Modification design office.
In 2015, Jean-François Verkindre joined Safran Nacelles as Maintenance, Publication and Services Manager in the Support and Customer Services department.
Jean-François Verkindre, 50 years old, is a graduate of the CNAM Paris where he obtained a DESS in management in 1999 and a Master’s degree in 2003.
*The radome is the front tip of an aircraft. It is a technical component the main function of which is to protect the antenna that it hides.
